Our Grade A Bold Green Pods are sourced from a single farm in the Idukki highlands of Kerala. Each pod is hand-picked at peak ripeness and graded by size and colour before dispatch.
The volatile oil content — the measure of true cardamom fragrance — is significantly higher in these pods than in commodity-grade cardamom. You will notice the difference the moment you open the seal.
Best used whole in biryanis, chai, and slow-cooked curries. Crush lightly before use to release the oils without losing them to the air.
Premium Reserve is our top grade — pods selected individually for exceptional size, deep green colour, and maximum volatile oil content. Only a fraction of each harvest qualifies.
