Our Grade A Bold Green Pods are sourced from a single farm in the Idukki highlands of Kerala. Each pod is hand-picked at peak ripeness and graded by size and colour before dispatch.

The volatile oil content — the measure of true cardamom fragrance — is significantly higher in these pods than in commodity-grade cardamom. You will notice the difference the moment you open the seal.

Best used whole in biryanis, chai, and slow-cooked curries. Crush lightly before use to release the oils without losing them to the air.

The Chef's Select bundle is designed for professional kitchens and serious home cooks who go through cardamom regularly. At 500g, it offers the best value per gram while maintaining the same single-origin standard.

Every pod in this bundle is from the same grade and harvest as our 100g pack — the only difference is quantity. We seal in two 250g portions within the outer pack to preserve freshness after opening.
